My client is a long established national business providing a range of tools, equipment and solutions to the automotive workshop sector. Due to business growth, they are seeking an experienced Customer Service Supervisor/Team Leader to lead its customer service and coordination functions.
This is a hands‑on leadership role focused on delivering high service standards, efficient scheduling, and a positive customer experience. We are seeking a candidate who enjoys leading people, improving processes, and acting as the central point of coordination between customers, technicians, sales, and internal stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and support a team of customer service and administration staff, ensuring inbound and outbound enquiries are accurately logged and prioritised
- Assist your team in the coordination of service technicians to maximise utilisation and meet SLAs
- Ensure accurate job creation, quoting, warranty processing, invoicing, and job closure & monitor any backlogs
- Act as an escalation point for high‑priority or complex customer matters and drive customer satisfaction through clear communication
- Identify inefficiencies and lead continuous improvement initiatives across service operations

- Demonstrated experience leading customer service teams
- Strong customer service and solution focused approach with excellent time management capabilities
- Solid understanding of service operations, scheduling, and job management processes
- A detail‑oriented approach with a continuous improvement mindset
