Troocoo Healthcare is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join residential aged care teams across aged care facilities in the Maryborough/Granville area of Queensland.
These are excellent opportunities for experienced RNs looking for a stable, full-time position within residential aged care.
The Opportunity As a Registered Nurse, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to residents, working collaboratively with care teams to support their clinical, physical and emotional wellbeing.
You will be responsible for providing safe and effective nursing care while maintaining high clinical standards and contributing to a positive resident experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing high quality clinical care to residents in a residential aged care environment
- Completing comprehensive assessments and developing and reviewing care plans
- Administering medications and undertaking clinical interventions in accordance with scope of practice
- Monitoring residents' health and responding appropriately to changes in clinical condition
- Completing accurate clinical documentation and maintaining resident records
- Working collaboratively with AINs, ENs, allied health professionals, families and other members of the care team
- Supporting clinical handovers and contributing to effective communication across the team
- Participating in continuous improvement and maintaining compliance with relevant policies, procedures and standards
- Promoting dignity, choice, independence and person centred care for every resident
What We're Looking For To be considered for these opportunities, you will have:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 2 years' experience working as a Registered Nurse
- Previous residential aged care experience highly regarded
- Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine commitment to providing high quality, person centred care
- The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong documentation and clinical record-keeping skills
- Availability to commence ASAP
- Full working rights in Australia
