Contract Administrator (Junior to Senior) | Commercial Construction

Join a leading commercial construction contractor delivering a diverse portfolio of projects across Perth. With a strong pipeline of work and continued growth within the WA market, we are seeking motivated Junior, Intermediate, and Senior Contract Administrators to support the successful delivery of commercial projects ranging from $5M to $100M.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, relationship-driven builder known for its repeat client base, collaborative culture, and commitment to developing construction professionals. You'll work alongside experienced Project Managers, Site Managers, and leadership teams on high-quality projects across the commercial, education, hospitality, retail, industrial, and community sectors.

The Opportunity

As a Contract Administrator, you will play a key role in managing the commercial and contractual aspects of projects from procurement through to completion. Depending on your level of experience, you will either support senior team members or take ownership of the full contract administration function across one or multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation and administration of subcontract and supplier agreements.
• Procurement of trades and materials through tendering and negotiation processes.
• Evaluation and comparison of subcontractor quotations.
• Management of project budgets, forecasts, cost tracking, and financial reporting.
• Assessment and processing of progress claims, variations, and payment schedules.
• Management of RFIs, contractual correspondence, and project documentation.
• Identification and mitigation of commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaboration with project delivery teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants, and stakeholders.

About You

Junior Contract Administrators

• 1-3 years' experience within the commercial construction industry.
• Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong attention to detail and eagerness to develop a long-term career in construction.

Intermediate Contract Administrators

• 3-5 years' experience in a Contract Administration role.
• Proven exposure to procurement, cost management, and subcontract administration.
• Ability to manage multiple packages and stakeholders autonomously.

Senior Contract Administrators

• 5+ years' experience delivering commercial construction projects.
• Strong understanding of commercial management, contract law, procurement strategies, and risk management.
• Capability to lead project commercial functions and mentor junior team members.

Salary Guide

• Junior Contract Administrator: $80,000 - $100,000 + Super
• Intermediate Contract Administrator: $100,000 - $150,000 + Super
• Senior Contract Administrator: $150,000 - $190,000 + Super
