Interior Designer

(Richmond, VIC 3121) is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Interior Designer to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consulting with clients to determine design objectives, functional requirements, and project specifications for commercial and workplace environments
• Developing interior design concepts, layouts, and space planning solutions tailored to office and corporate spaces
• Preparing sketches, drawings, and detailed design documentation using appropriate software
• Selecting and specifying materials, finishes, furnishings, lighting, and colour schemes in line with project needs
• Collaborating with architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure effective project delivery
• Ensuring all designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and workplace safety standards
• Assisting in managing project timelines, budgets, and procurement processes
• Conducting site visits to monitor progress and ensure design quality and consistency

About you:

• At least 1 year of relevant work experience as an Interior Designer
• Knowledge of interior design principles, materials, and commercial space planning
• Ability to interpret client requirements and develop practical and functional design solutions
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools
• Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities, especially in collaborative project environments

$70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per annum.
