Design and Deliver Mission-Critical Defence Systems
An exciting opportunity exists for an Electrical / C4I Engineer to join a leading Defence engineering program supporting the development, integration and delivery of mission-critical communications and command systems.Working within a multidisciplinary engineering environment, you will contribute to the design, integration, verification and support of Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) capabilities across complex Defence and operational platforms. This role offers the opportunity to work across the full engineering lifecycle while collaborating with systems, hardware and specialist engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities

• Design, integrate and support C4I systems and communications infrastructure.
• Deliver systems engineering activities across design, integration, testing and verification.
• Develop and review technical documentation, requirements and interface specifications.
• Support mission system, network and platform integration activities.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues across development and deployment phases.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, suppliers and customers to deliver Defence capability outcomes.

What You'll Need To Succeed

• Degree qualified in Electrical, Mechatronic or related Engineering discipline.
• Experience in Defence, aerospace, telecommunications or complex engineering environments.
• Background in communications systems, networking, systems integration or mission-critical infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of systems engineering, testing and verification activities.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Australian Citizenship and eligibility to obtain an NV1 Security Clearance.

Highly Desirable

• Experience within Defence C4I environments, communications systems, systems architecture, networking, cybersecurity or technical leadership roles.
