ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITYA key focus will be delivering external audit assignments from planning through to completion. You will be responsible for performing testing, preparing audit documentation, identifying risks and supporting the delivery of high-quality outcomes for a broad portfolio of clients.
You will be trusted to manage your own workload, communicate effectively with stakeholders and consistently deliver work to a high professional standard while meeting engagement deadlines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform audit testing and fieldwork across a diverse client portfolio.
- Prepare accurate and compliant audit workpapers and supporting documentation.
- Assist with engagement planning, risk assessments and completion procedures.
- Liaise directly with clients to obtain information and resolve audit queries.
- Identify risks, control weaknesses and areas requiring further investigation.
- Support the preparation and completion of audit reports and deliverables.
- Maintain compliance with professional standards and quality requirements.
- Assist with mentoring and supporting junior members of the team.
- Contribute to process improvements and best-practice audit methodology.
- Build strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

YOU WILL BRING
- Degree qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline.
- CA or CPA qualification, or progress toward completion.
- Previous experience within external audit or professional services.
- Strong understanding of audit procedures, risk assessment and compliance.
- Advanced communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel capability and exposure to audit software.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving ability.
- A professional, proactive and client-focused approach.
