Your new role
As a Data Analyst, you will develop, enhance and maintain mathematical models that forecast health workforce supply and demand. You will lead the delivery of the work program, manage the backlog and ensure agreed scope, quality standards and timeframes are met.You will apply forecasting, statistical, machine-learning and quantitative methods to identify patterns, build classification, prediction and optimisation models, and generate actionable policy insights. Working with analysts, modellers, software developers, cloud engineers, project managers and technical leads, you will help deliver a health workforce supply-and-demand scenario-planning tool aligned with industry and agency standards.

What you'll need to succeed

Demonstrated Federal Government experience and Baseline security clearance Advanced experience in forecasting, statistics, machine learning and quantitative analysis. Demonstrated ability to develop mathematical, classification, prediction and optimisation models. Strong capability in analysing, interpreting and investigating large, complex datasets, using SAS and Power BI. Excellent collaboration and stakeholder-engagement skills across analytical, technical and delivery teams. The ability to present complex data and statistical concepts clearly to senior and non-technical audiences. A proactive, independent approach to solving complex analytical problems and delivering business outcomes.

What you'll get in return
