Hardware Technician
- Identify and resolve hardware issues across a range of devices.

iTech Savvy Pty Ltd, located in Butler, WA, specializes in fast and reliable in hardware repair devices such as for smartphones, tablets, laptops, computers and more. The business is known for customer-centric approach, offering same-day, on-site repair services and a six-month warranty on display repairs. We are looking for a full time and skilled hardware technician to ensure quick turnaround times without compromising on quality.
Salary range: $70,000 - $80,000 per annum (depending upon skills and experience)
Location: Butler, WA
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
·Identify and resolve hardware issues across a range of devices, including laptops, desktop computers, tablets, smartwatches, and iPads.
·Conduct regular maintenance, servicing, and repairs on components of hardware devices such as monitors, mobile phones, laptops, and tablets.
·Carefully dismantle hardware devices to carry out detailed inspections and determine the root cause of faults.
·Install, configure, and test hardware systems to ensure optimal performance and compatibility.
·Install, update, and maintain software applications to enhance hardware efficiency and functionality.
·Execute full device testing after repairs to ensure all hardware functions are working as intended.
·Carry out final quality checks post-repair to guarantee customer satisfaction and performance standards.
·Offer expert technical support and preventive advice to customers to help reduce future equipment issues.
·Provide estimated cost of repairs and replacements to the customer
·Maintain detailed records of all service and repair work for monitoring, tracking, and warranty purposes.
·Deliver all repair services promptly, adhering to high-quality benchmarks and workplace safety standards (OHS).
·Keep up to date with emerging technologies and modern repair practices to continually enhance service delivery
Requirements
·Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Hardware Technician/Computer & Mobile phone Technician/ related field.
·Relevant qualification/ certification in computer/ electrical engineering/IT or related field is required; however, substantial relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.
·Australian work experience in a similar role is preferred.
