About your new role
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Operations Manager to take ownership of end-to-end manufacturing operations and lead performance across production, planning, and continuous improvement.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be instrumental in driving efficiency, quality, and team engagement. You will oversee daily operations, develop strong production teams, and embed best-practice manufacturing processes to support ongoing growth.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing high-performing production teams across all shifts
  • Overseeing daily manufacturing operations to ensure safety, quality, and delivery targets are consistently met
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives and implementing lean manufacturing principles
  • Managing production planning, scheduling, materials flow, and labour resourcing
  • Monitoring KPIs and implementing strategies to improve productivity and operational performance
  • Managing supplier relationships and coordinating procurement and materials planning
  • Ensuring compliance with OH&S standards and fostering a strong safety culture

About you
You are a proactive and commercially minded Operations Manager with a strong background in manufacturing and a passion for leading people. You thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy rolling up your sleeves to drive operational excellence.
You will bring:

  • Proven experience in operations or production management within a manufacturing environment
  • Joinery experience essential
  • Strong leadership and team development capability
  • Solid understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach
  • Experience in production planning, inventory management, and supply chain coordination
  • Strong knowledge of OH&S and safety compliance
