Your new role
As the Building Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a residential building, ensuring it is maintained to a high standard and that residents, contractors and stakeholders receive exceptional service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting routine site inspections and coordinating both preventative and reactive maintenance work.
- Managing contractor attendance, service bookings and maintenance schedules.
- Processing work orders and ensuring service requests are actioned efficiently.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for residents, strata committees, contractors and other stakeholders.
- Coordinating building services and ensuring works are completed safely and to a high standard.
- Maintaining accurate records, documentation and compliance-related information.
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the property and identifying opportunities for improvement.
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Building Manager or Strata Building Manager position.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational and administrative capabilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using property management or facilities management systems such as MYBOS, BuildingLink, StrataMax or similar will be highly regarded.
- Current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Ability to provide a current police clearance.
- Full Australian working rights.
