We are seeking a talented Unity / VR Developer to join an innovative team delivering next-generation immersive experiences. This role will focus on designing, developing and enhancing cutting-edge Virtual Reality (VR) applications using Unity, working across a range of exciting projects that push the boundaries of interactive technology.
The Role
As a Unity / VR Developer, you will be responsible for building and optimising high-quality VR applications, collaborating closely with designers, subject matter experts and technical stakeholders to deliver engaging and intuitive user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain VR applications using Unity
- Design, build and optimise interactive experiences for VR headsets and immersive environments
- Implement gameplay mechanics, user interactions and immersive features
- Troubleshoot, debug and enhance application performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Contribute to architecture, design decisions and best practices
- Participate in testing, deployment and ongoing support activities
About You
- Proven commercial experience developing applications in Unity
- Strong C# development skills
- Experience building applications for Virtual Reality (VR) platforms
- Understanding of 3D graphics, physics, optimisation and performance tuning
- Experience integrating APIs, SDKs and third-party tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Desirable Experience
- Experience with Meta Quest, HTC Vive or other VR platforms
- Knowledge of XR, AR or mixed reality technologies
- Experience with multiplayer, networking or simulation-based applications
- Exposure to 3D modelling pipelines and asset integration
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments
