Your new companyHays Recruitment is partnering with a well-established electrical manufacturing business in Adelaide's northern suburbs. Due to a strong pipeline of work, we are seeking experienced Electricians to join a growing team specialising in switchboard manufacture, assembly and installation.
Your new roleWorking within a modern switchboard manufacturing environment, you'll be responsible for the assembly, installation, termination and testing of electrical systems to a high standard. This role offers a mix of workshop-based work and project support, with significant overtime opportunities available.
Key responsibilities include:
- Installing and terminating control and power cabling
- Cable ladder installation and cable routing
- Switchboard installation and assembly
- Point-to-point testing and quality checks
- Cable labelling and identification
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams
- Ensuring all work is completed to relevant Australian Standards and project specifications
What you'll need to succeed
- Current South Australian Electrical Licence
- White Card
- Previous experience in switchboard manufacturing, industrial electrical (Desirable)
- Strong cable termination and installation experience
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Strong focus on safety and teamwork
