The Position
Laminex are now searching for a Storeperson / HR Truck Driver to join our close knit Townsville team. This role is focused on servicing the Townsville region and surrounds.
Working 8.00am - 4.00pm Monday-Friday in a full-time position, your primary responsibilities will be loading and unloading of our trucks and the delivery of our products to our valued customers across the region.
This role will be a minimum of 38 hours per week.
Permanent full-time: $32- $34 per hour Penalties & 12% Super (38 hours + overtime as need basis)
About You
We are looking for a people focused and safety minded person who is ready to join a leading business in a pivotal role.
You must have a keen attitude and willingness to learn new things along with the following skills and experience:
- Must have current Forklift licence
- Heavy Rigid truck licence with 6 months + exp driving HR or bigger (Preferred)
- Strong customer service skills
- Experience with board products highly regarded
- Strong safety focus is essential
- Physically fit as there is some manual lifting involved in this role
- Exceptional awareness of safety in the workplace
