Vickery Bros Pty Ltd is an established regional agribusiness operating fertiliser supply, spreading, depots, logistics and fleet workshops across western Victoria and southeast South Australia; Coleraine-based team.
We are seeking an experienced qualified light-vehicle Motor Mechanic (General) (Light Vehicle Mechanic) able to work independently and collaboratively in a regional fleet workshop.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair petrol and light-diesel engines and mechanical/electronic systems of cars, utilities and light commercial vehicles
- Inspect brakes, ABS, steering, suspension and drivetrains
- Service transmissions, clutches and differentials; test electrical equipment
- Carry out preventive maintenance, road tests and job card recording.
Applicants must have:
- Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (AUR30620) or recognised trade equivalent
- Minimum 2-3 years post-qualification relevant experience
- Current appropriate driver licence for road tests
- Electronic diagnostics, engine and drivetrain repair skills
- Refrigerant handling licence preferred not essential.
