Resthaven Bellevue Heights Residential Services is looking for a Coordinator of Hospitality Services for a Full-time role. About the opportunity:
Reporting to the Site Manager, you are responsible for ensuring a quality hospitality service is provided to residents by developing and monitoring work practice standards that focus on quality outcomes and continuous improvement including:
- Ensuring the provision of quality hospitality service meals to residents, maintaining compliance with food safety standards
- Participating in the development of your sites budget requests and monitoring expenditure, with effective and efficient use of resource
- Coordinating provision of cleaning services and maintenance in accordance with required standard
- Coordination of housekeeping staff and duties
- Ensuring current knowledge of legislation, work practice and contemporary hospitality practices
About you:
- Background in commercial cooking, hospitality services, or a similar service leadership role.
- Proven ability to coordinate and lead a diverse team.
- Knowledge of and experience working with food safety legislation and standards.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to competing priorities.
- Experience with stock control, ordering, and inventory management.
- Previous experience managing hospitality or housekeeping services in the aged care or hospitality sector is highly regarded
