Senior Financial Accountant

Role & Client Overview:
A well-established and growing Australian organisation is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join a close-knit finance team. The role will play a key part in financial reporting, controls and providing insights, with genuine scope to grow into a leadership position.

The Opportunity:
Working closely with the Head of Finance and broader business, you’ll take ownership of financial reporting, maintain financial integrity and contribute to process improvements and strategic initiatives.

The Role:

• Prepare monthly financial and statutory reporting
• Provide analysis and commercial insights
• Manage tax compliance, including BAS and FBT
• Oversee reconciliations and financial accuracy
• Lead the annual audit and liaise with external auditors
• Drive process and finance improvements

About You:

• CA/CPA qualified with experience in a similar accounting role
• Strong financial reporting and month-end experience
• Strong communication skills with ability to engage stakeholders
• Emerging leadership capability
• High attention to detail, with accuracy critical in all aspects of work
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
