About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts & Administration professional who enjoys variety, takes ownership and is confident managing the financial and administrative functions that keep a business running smoothly.

Working as an integral part of the TPS team, you’ll take responsibility for a broad range of accounts, payroll and general administration activities across multiple entities.

You’ll be someone who enjoys getting things done, can confidently juggle competing priorities and takes pride in maintaining accuracy across everything you do.

This is a hands-on role where your contribution will be genuinely valued. You’ll work closely with the wider team and Managing Director, providing reliable financial information, keeping accounts and payroll on track and ensuring the day-to-day administration of the business runs efficiently.

The role is available on either a permanent full-time or permanent part-time basis, with part-time hours of approximately 25-30 hours per week across Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable across multiple entities
  • Manage Accounts Receivable and follow up outstanding accounts
  • Prepare and assist with BAS requirements
  • Process end-to-end fortnightly payroll and maintain accurate employee records
  • Ensure payroll, superannuation and related obligations are met
  • Complete bank, credit card and account reconciliations
  • Prepare weekly management reports and monitor financial performance
  • Prepare and process local and foreign currency payment runs
  • Manage supplier enquiry forms, account applications and documentation
  • Maintain accurate financial and administrative records
  • Order office supplies and stationery
  • Provide general administration support across the business
  • Provide PA support to the Managing Director when required
  • Assist with organising staff functions and activities
  • Undertake additional administration and finance tasks as required

About You

We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive and reliable, with the confidence to take ownership of their responsibilities and work autonomously.

You may be an experienced bookkeeper who has managed a broad range of functions or an administration professional with strong accounts and payroll experience.

Ideally you will possess:

  • Demonstrated experience across bookkeeping, finance administration or accounting
  • Strong Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience
  • Excellent end-to-end payroll and superannuation knowledge
  • Strong reconciliation and financial reporting experience
  • Experience managing accounts across multiple entities
  • Experience with Xero is ESSENTIAL
  • Experient with Dext will be Highly Regarded
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Proactive approach with confidence to work autonomously
  • Professional communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
