Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking an experienced Account Manager to manage a key cabinetmaker portfolio across Brisbane Central & West regions. This role suits someone from building materials, construction, or commercial projects who enjoys managing established accounts while developing strong relationships.
The Role
As an Account Manager at Laminex, you will focus on working with our customers across residential, renovation, commercial and project markets, providing an optimum level of service while developing and maximising sales across your region. This role is not a cold-calling BDM position; instead, it is a relationship-driven sales role focused on account management, project tracking, and specification conversion.
What we are looking for
- Experience as an Account Manager, Sales Representative, or Business Development Manager within construction or building materials industry
- Strong understanding of construction and project lifecycles
- Proven ability to manage major accounts and long-term customers
- Existing industry relationships (highly advantageous)
- Proven problem solving skills and negotiation capabilities in achieving sales outcome
- Self motivation and confidence working independently
