Forklift Driver
- Operate forklifts to transport feed, stock, pallets, and farm supplies.
- Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and assist with inventory handling.
Blantyre Farms is a highly productive mixed farming and livestock business located near Young in the South West Slopes region of New South Wales. Our operations include broad-acre cropping, beef, wool and lamb production, together with a large indoor piggery operation.
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Driver to join our team on a full-time basis.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operating forklifts to transport feed, stock, pallets, and farm supplies
- Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently
- Moving products and materials within warehouse and farm facilities
- Conducting routine equipment inspections and reporting faults
- Assisting with inventory handling and storage procedures
- Following workplace health and safety standards at all times
- Supporting general farm and warehouse operations as required
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year relevant experience as a Forklift Driver
- Current LF Forklift Licence
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced agricultural environment
- Strong understanding of workplace safety and manual handling practices
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Physically fit and reliable with strong attention to detail
