Are you an experienced Early Childhood Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity in a small, community-focused kindergarten?

We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Teacher for Manangatang Kindergarten. This is an exciting opportunity to join a stand-alone, sessional kindergarten and make a meaningful contribution to the learning, development and wellbeing of young children.

This is a part-time position of 25 hours per week, working across Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Kindergarten sessions operate from 8:45 am to 1:45 pm.
For the right candidate, there is also the opportunity to increase the position to full-time hours by working in conjunction with another service, providing flexibility for candidates looking for additional hours.

Manangatang Kindergarten currently has 5 children enrolled in the 3-year-old program and 3 children enrolled in the 4-year-old program.
The successful candidate will lead and deliver high-quality, play-based kindergarten programs across both the 3-year-old and 4-year-old groups. You will be responsible for program planning, documentation, assessment and supporting positive learning outcomes for children, while building strong relationships with families and the wider team.

This position may be eligible for relocation incentives through the Victorian Department of Education’s funded kindergarten program.
Eligible candidates may be able to access relocation assistance of up to $38,000, subject to eligibility and the requirements of the relevant Victorian Government program.

For candidates relocating to the area, accommodation may be available in Ouyen, subject to availability.

A Degree in Early Childhood Education is essential for this role. The successful candidate must also hold a current Working with Children Check and be prepared to undergo a criminal record check.
Due to the location of the kindergarten, the successful candidate must hold a valid driver’s licence and have access to a reliable car.
