Join a large, established organisation in Sydneys west within a sophisticated payroll shared services environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Payroll Officer who enjoys working with complex payrolls, Enterprise Agreements and data while building strong relationships across the wider business.Your new role
As a Senior Payroll Officer, youll support the accurate and compliant delivery of payroll across multiple sites, working closely with an outsourced payroll provider and internal stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include:

• Analysing payroll data across earnings, tax, deductions, leave, superannuation and associated on-costs
• Reviewing fortnightly and monthly payroll reports and reconciling discrepancies
• Ensuring compliance with Enterprise Agreements, company policies and relevant payroll legislation
• Completing payroll investigations and audits to identify discrepancies and minimise risk
• Managing international payroll requirements for inpat and expat employees
• Completing general ledger reconciliations and payroll tax remittances
• Preparing ad hoc payroll and operational reporting
• Supporting payroll configuration changes, documentation and testing
• Working closely with the outsourced payroll provider and key internal stakeholders
• Contributing to continuous improvement and payroll change initiatives

What you'll need to succeed

• To be successful, youll bring demonstrated payroll experience with strong analytical and data manipulation skills. Youll have a solid understanding of payroll legislation, awards and Enterprise Agreements, alongside intermediate to advanced Excel skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Ideally, youll have extensive payroll experience and exposure to complex Enterprise Agreements.
• Experience with Workday and Ramco would be highly regarded
• Due to the immediate requirement for this position, you must be immediately available or on a short notice period to be considered.
