Workday Financials Functional Consultant

12-Month Contract | Hybrid | Canberra preferred / Melbourne considered
Australian Citizenship mandatory | Baseline Clearance preferred

We’re seeking an experienced Workday Financials Functional Consultant to support enterprise Workday Financials implementation and transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business requirements with stakeholders.
• Provide functional expertise across Workday Financials.
• Design, configure and implement Workday Financials solutions.
• Advise on finance processes and industry best practices.
• Conduct configuration demonstrations and prototyping.
• Support implementation activities, project reporting and stakeholder engagement.
• Apply broader ERP/financial systems experience to complex business requirements.

About You

• Workday Financials experience with certification.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting and enterprise finance processes.
• Experience with ERP platforms such as Oracle, SAP or similar.
• Strong stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ideally 2–5 years of Workday implementation experience, including at least one end-to-end Workday Financials implementation.
• CPA/CA and Workday Financial Core certification are highly desirable.

Location: Canberra preferred; Melbourne considered with travel to Canberra likely required.
