Your new role
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Crane Technician - (Mechanical / Electrical) to join a growing team working across various mine sites throughout the Bowen Basin. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, inspection, fault-finding and repair of overhead cranes, jib cranes and associated lifting equipment. Working a 4/3 roster with 12-hour shifts, you will support a range of mining clients while contributing to safe and efficient site operations. This is a long-term opportunity with an ASAP start for the right candidate.
What you'll need to succeed
- Current Electrical Licence or Mechanical Trade Certificate
- Current Driver's Licence
- Standard 11 Statement of Attainment
- Current Coal Board Medical
- Current LVR/CPR Certification (for electrical only)
- Experience working on overhead and/or jib cranes highly regarded
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Commitment to maintaining high safety standards
- Must be residentially based in Mackay
