Hydrotesting Technicians / Polywelders

Core Talent is currently seeking experienced Hydrotesting Technicians and Polywelders with hydrostatic testing experience for a long-term Rio Tinto project in the Pilbara.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced HDPE piping professionals looking for consistent FIFO work on an ongoing project.

About the Role

• Conduct hydrostatic pressure testing on HDPE pipelines
• Prepare, set up and operate hydrotesting equipment
• Perform pressure testing, monitoring and leak detection
• Assist with HDPE pipe installation, butt fusion and electrofusion works
• Complete testing documentation and quality assurance records
• Work safely in accordance with site procedures and project specifications

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in hydrostatic pressure testing essential
• Background in HDPE polywelding, piping or pipeline construction
• Experience with butt fusion and electrofusion welding highly regarded
• Previous FIFO mining experience, ideally on Rio Tinto sites
• Ability to interpret testing procedures and work independently
• Relevant polywelding qualifications or tickets advantageous
• Current driver's licence
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
