Payroll Officer

PERSOL are currently recruiting for an experienced Payroll Officer to join a well-established organisation based in Maddington on a fixed-term contract (3-months).
This is a great opportunity for someone with payroll experience who would enjoy getting involved in a major payroll system implementation project, while also supporting the team with day-to-day payroll operations.
The role will involve:
- Supporting parallel pay runs and comparing outputs across current and new payroll systems
- Payroll reconciliations, validation and variance investigation
- Validating employee data including pay rates, allowances, deductions and leave balances
- Assisting with UAT and payroll scenario testing
- Supporting BAU payroll including starters, terminations, adjustments and employee changes
- Working closely with Payroll, HR, Finance and the implementation team
We're looking for someone with strong payroll knowledge, EBA interpretation experience, good Excel skills and, importantly, excellent attention to detail.
