Jumbo Operator

Techforce Personnel has partnered with a Tier 1 heavyweight in the underground mining industry and is seeking experienced Underground Cable Bolters for long-term FIFO opportunities across SA.

You'll be joining established underground operations with strong safety cultures, experienced crews and consistent work—offering more than just another shutdown or short-term contract.

The Role

• Operating Sandvik DS421 Cable Bolters and similar equipment
• Installing, grouting and tensioning cable bolts
• Reading and interpreting ground support plans
• Working closely with Jumbo and Service Crew teams
• Maintaining production targets while adhering to site safety standards

Requirements

• Proven underground Cable Bolting experience
• Experience operating Sandvik DS421
• Strong understanding of underground ground support
• Current National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
• Current Driver's Licence
• Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug & Alcohol Screen
• SA sites are clean shave sites
