About the Role
As a cold store forklift operator at Melbourne Airport, you’ll be an essential part of the team responsible for handling international cargo and keeping operations running smoothly. Your day-to-day will include:
- Operating a forklift to unload aircraft units
- Manual handling
- Removing cargo nets and shrink-wrap from pallets
- Loading airfreight onto trucks
- Operating hoists to safely manoeuvre aircraft units
- Working in a cold store
- Working with perishables & carcus's

Rosters & Pay
- Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 5:30pm
- Weekday rates: $33per hour, with applicable shift penalties
What We’re Looking For
- Forklift competency and experience in freight handling
- A strong desire to grow and learn in the airfreight industry
- Clean criminal record
- Ability to pass ongoing drug & alcohol testing
- Previous cold store experience
- Ability to work with perishables & carcus's
- Reliable, team-focused attitude
