About the role:
Join one of Australia’s leading stair manufacturers at our Braeside branch as a full-time CNC Operator! You'll be part of a close-knit, high-performing team in our dynamic CNC department, working Monday to Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm. This is your opportunity to play a vital role in crafting custom, high-quality stair components using world-class technology.
What you'll be doing:
- Producing various solid timber stair components
- Regular maintenance and upkeep of machines and tools
- Working in a supportive team environment
Your work will rotate on the following machines -
- Flatbed Woodtron
- 3 x Pod & Rail 5axis Biesse Rover A
- Pod & Rail 5axis Biesse Rover C
What you'll bring:
We’re looking for someone who brings a strong work ethic, precision, and pride in craftsmanship. Ideally, you have:
- Experience operating CNC machines (timber preferred)
- A current Australian drivers licence
- A trade qualification (carpentry or joinery preferred)
- Experience in timber manufacturing or a similar industry (bonus points!)
