HR Vac Truck Driver
Roster: Initial 3-month casual duration with potential to move direct with the client permanent | Working Monday to Friday in office, 1.00am to 8.36am with potential for OT/Weekend Work
Location: Padstow, NSW
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform loading and unloading duties of liquid waste across a range of waste streams, which may include grease trap waste, food waste, septic, hydrocarbons, industrial waste waters and packaged wastes.
- Manual handling role which includes dragging, pulling hoses, lifting lids with lifting devices, cleaning out traps, scraping, hosing etc.
- Maintain a professional image of the Company and deliver high-quality customer service at all times.
- Operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with training, instructions or operating procedures and company regulations.
- Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on vehicle and/or equipment as and when required.
- Ensure all tools and equipment used in the performance of work is safe to use & stored in a clean & correct manner.
Skills & Experience
- Current HR Drivers Licence
- Vacuum loading – nice to have but not essential – Training provided
- EPA Permit to transport as a driver – nice to have but not essential – Training provided
- Able to work weekends when required
- Good work ethic & Commitment to safety
- Self-motivated & Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
