Hays Trades & Labour are currently seeking experienced Construction Electricians for a project based on a Defence site in Adelaide's northern suburbs.This is an excellent opportunity to secure a short-term assignment on a high-profile Defence project, offering above-award pay rates, penalties and plenty of overtime.Please note: Due to Defence security requirements, this position is only available to Australian Citizens.
Your new roleWorking as part of a skilled electrical team, your duties may include:
- Commercial and industrial electrical installations
- Cable tray and cable ladder installation
- Running and terminating power and control cables
- Switchboard and equipment installation
- Testing and commissioning activities
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings
- Maintaining high safety and quality standards on site
What you'll need to succeed
- Current South Australian A-Class Electrical Licence
- Current White Card
- Australian Citizenship (essential)
- Ability to meet Defence security clearance requirements
- Proven construction electrical experience
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Reliable transport and own tools
