An excellent opportunity is available for experienced Safety Coordinators to join a leading Tier 1 construction contractor on a maternity leave contract basis.
We are seeking two highly organised and proactive safety professionals to provide administrative and coordination support to a major project team in Melbourne's western suburbs. Working closely with project leadership and the Environment, Health & Safety team, this role will play a key part in maintaining project safety systems, records, and reporting requirements.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with experience in construction safety administration, injury management support, or project coordination to contribute to a high-performing team within a complex construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain project safety records, registers, databases, and documentation.
- Coordinate the timely entry and management of incident and injury management data.
- Support compliance with company policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.
- Assist with the administration and maintenance of first aid facilities, supplies, and records.
- Provide support to site leadership in monitoring safety actions and reporting requirements.
- Respond to employee and stakeholder enquiries relating to safety processes and injury management.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the effective operation of project safety systems.
About You
- Experience in a construction, infrastructure, industrial, or project-based environment.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
- Experience supporting safety, health, injury management, or compliance functions is desirable.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and database management systems.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative project team.
