Skillforce Recruitment are seeking a Leading Hand Drainer for Perth Based Projects .
Commencing Early August
Core Responsibilities
- Crew Supervision: Lead on-site drainage teams, allocate daily tasks, and mentor workers.
- System Installation: Lay and fit pipes (such as PVC, RCP, or corrugated steel), build headwalls, and construct pits or manholes.
- Plan Interpretation: Read civil and architectural design drawings to set correct levels, grades, and alignments.
- Safety & Compliance: Run toolbox talks, complete risk assessments, and enforce site WHS rules.
Key Requirements
- Trade Skills: Proven experience in civil drainage, pipelaying, and reading project blueprints.
- Licenses: Construction White Card, valid driver's licence (HR/HC licence often preferred), and relevant drainer/plumbing tickets.
- Leadership: Strong communication and problem-solving skills to manage daily site changes and guide team output.
- Must have Full Working Rights to Work in Australia
- Able to pass a Drug and Alcohol Screen
