Job Description

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
• Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
• Analyse financial data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.
• Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team.
• Collaborate with other departments to support organisational goals.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Accounting Manager should have:

• A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as CA or CPA.
• Strong technical knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
• Proven ability to manage and mentor a team effectively.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.

What's on Offer

• Competitive salary ranging from $130,000 to $180,000 AUD, depending on experience.
