Data Analyst
- Permanent full-time position
- 38 hours per week
- $80,000 - $90,000 per year + superannuation
- Location: Sydney
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collect, extract, validate and analyse data from multiple sources, including property portfolios, financial systems, CRM platforms, construction projects and market research databases to support business operations.
- Analyse property market trends, investment performance, acquisition opportunities, rental yields, occupancy rates and development feasibility to provide data-driven recommendations to senior management.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) using business intelligence tools to monitor investment, development and asset management performance.
- Perform statistical analysis and predictive modelling to forecast property values, project costs, investment returns, sales performance and market demand.
- Identify trends, anomalies and business risks through the analysis of operational and financial data and recommend strategies to improve business performance and investment outcomes.
- Design, automate and optimise reporting processes to improve data accuracy, reporting efficiency and decision-making across the organisation.
- Collaborate with the Investment, Finance, Development, Sales and Marketing teams to understand business requirements and deliver analytical solutions that support strategic initiatives.
- Conduct data quality assessments, implement validation procedures and maintain the accuracy, consistency and integrity of business data.
- Prepare comprehensive analytical reports, dashboards and presentations to support executive decision-making on acquisitions, development projects, portfolio performance and financial planning.
- Recommend improvements to data management practices, reporting methodologies and business processes by identifying opportunities through quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
Skills and Required Experience
You must have:
- At least bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in IT related field
- Minimum 2 years’ full-time work experience
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and data literacy skills
