With contracts ranging from 6 to 12 weeks, and the potential for extension, you’ll have the opportunity to work across clinical wards and hospital dispensary services, gain valuable experience in a new healthcare environment, and become part of a local community—all while enjoying accommodation and travel support.
With rates of up to $80 per hour + super, these contracts are a great opportunity to take your hospital pharmacy career somewhere new.
About the role
Locations: Regional and Coastal Queensland
Start Date: September 2026
Contract Length: Minimum 6 weeks, with contracts available for up to 12 weeks
Extension: Potential for extension, depending on the role and service requirements
Hourly Rate: Up to $80 per hour + superannuation, depending on experience, location and role requirements
Accommodation: Provided
Travel: Travel support provided
Work Environment: Hospital clinical wards and dispensary
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide clinical pharmacy services across hospital wards
- Support medication management and optimise patient care
- Work within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Contribute to hospital dispensary services
- Apply your clinical knowledge in a busy hospital environment
- Support quality use of medicines and safe medication practices
What We’re Looking For
✅ AHPRA-registered Pharmacist
✅ Hospital pharmacy experience is required
✅ Strong clinical pharmacy experience, ideally with 3+ years post-graduate experience
✅ Experience working across clinical wards and/or hospital dispensary
✅ iPharmacy experience highly desirable
✅ Ability to adapt quickly to new hospital environments
✅ Strong communication and teamwork skills
