ILS Manager - Sustainment / Defence Logistics / ISR Systems - Federal Government

We are seeking an experienced ILS Manager to support a major Federal Government Defence capability. The successful ILS Manager will lead Integrated Logistics Support and sustainment activities across complex ISR and mission-critical systems, ensuring operational readiness, lifecycle support and ongoing capability effectiveness. You will be offered an initial 12 month contract with the view to extend for a further 2 years and receive a rewarding hourly rate.
The successful ILS Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Planning and coordinating ILS activities to support the sustainment and operational readiness of ISR mission systems
- Working with engineering, operations and project teams to develop effective lifecycle support solutions
- Analysing sustainment performance including availability, reliability, maintainability and lifecycle costs
- Supporting governance activities including sustainment reviews, design gate reviews and approval boards
- Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate support outcomes and service provider contributions
The successful ILS Manager will have:
- 3-5+ years\' experience in Integrated Logistics Support, sustainment management or logistics engineering
- Experience supporting aviation, ISR or mission-critical systems within complex environments
- Strong understanding of sustainment planning, supportability analysis and lifecycle management practices
- Experience developing acquisition and support documentation aligned to Defence frameworks
- Engineering, ICT, Supply Chain or related qualifications, with Defence sustainment experience highly regarded
