Your new companyA South Australian Government department is seeking an experienced Communications Advisor to join their team on a 9-month temporary contract. This opportunity is available for an immediate start and would suit a communications professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys delivering high-quality communication outcomes across a broad stakeholder group.
Your new roleAs Communications Advisor, you will develop and deliver communication strategies, plans and content that support departmental priorities and initiatives. You will work closely with stakeholders to provide communications advice, prepare engaging written materials and ensure messaging is clear, consistent and aligned to strategic objectives.
You will contribute across a range of communication channels including digital content, intranet updates, newsletters, executive communications, stakeholder engagement activities and project communications. Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to manage competing priorities will be essential for success in this role.
What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in a Communications role in a government setting
• Exceptional written communication and content development skills
• Experience developing communication plans and stakeholder engagement activities
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Current DHS Working With Children Check is essential
• Immediate availability to commence and commit to a 9-month assignment
