Your new company
This Federal Government team delivers important funding initiatives that support communities across Australia. Due to increased workload, an opportunity is available for an experienced APS5 Program Support Officer to join a collaborative and high-performing team.
Your new role
Working within a small team, you will provide administrative and program support across the lifecycle of grant funding activities. You will assist with managing grant enquiries, maintaining accurate records, monitoring expenditure, and supporting the preparation of advice and correspondence. Your responsibilities will include:

Processing and responding to grant funding enquiries and agreements

Maintaining records relating to applications, outcomes, acquittals and expenditure

Reviewing funding documentation and preparing recommendations and responses to enquiries

Liaising with internal and external stakeholders regarding grant agreements and funding matters

Providing accurate program information and reporting to a range of stakeholders

Supporting the effective administration of government-funded initiatives
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your new role, you will demonstrate:
Experience supporting grants, programs, funding agreements or similar administrative functions

Strong organisation and planning skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines

High attention to detail and strong record management capabilities

Sound written and verbal communication skills

A financial, analytical or compliance-focused background

The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment

To be considered for this role, you will need to be an Australian citizen and have a Government Security Clearance at the Baseline level or higher.
