Your new role
Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a qualified Electrician to join their Gladstone-based team as a Crane Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, fault finding, repair and servicing of overhead, gantry and fixed cranes across a range of industrial and mining sites. Working alongside a highly experienced team, you will gain valuable exposure to specialised crane equipment while utilising modern technology such as iPads and digital reporting systems to complete job documentation, maintenance records and site compliance requirements.
What you'll need to succeed
- Electrical Trade Qualification
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Ability to pass a Gladstone 3 Site Medical (Yellow Medical)
- Current LVR / CPR
- Working at Heights
- EWP Licence (11m+)
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Good computer and technology literacy
- Ability to use iPads and digital maintenance reporting systems
- Reliable work ethic and strong commitment to safety
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
Highly regarded:
- Overhead or gantry crane experience
- Forklift Licence
- Crane or rigging-related experience
- Industrial, mining or heavy industry maintenance background
