Your new role
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join the team based in Clifton.
Reporting into senior management, you will be responsible for coordinating feed mill production, feed deliveries, and livestock logistics to ensure efficient operations across the business. This is a hands-on coordination role requiring strong planning skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating weekly feed mill production schedules, including liaising with external feed suppliers.
- Planning and scheduling feed deliveries across multiple sites and managing transport requirements.
- Operating and monitoring automated feed delivery systems.
- Completing reconciliations, reporting, and month-end processes.
- Coordinating livestock allocations and sales to end markets.
- Planning livestock transport schedules and managing logistics across multiple sites.
- Liaising with farm managers, sales teams, senior leadership, and external stakeholders to ensure production and market requirements are aligned.
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely data entry.
This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position based in Clifton, with standard working hours of 7:30am to 4:00pm (flexibility available).
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in logistics, scheduling, transport coordination, production planning, or a similar role.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High attention to detail and strong administrative capabilities.
- A proactive approach with the ability to problem-solve and make decisions in real time.
- Sound computer skills and experience working with logistics or scheduling systems.
- A current driver's licence.
