We're looking for a high-calibre Senior Financial Accountant to join a fast-paced Finance team within an ASX-listed resources business with an international footprint.
 
The Role
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in driving the Group's financial reporting and processes on track.
You'll be responsible for:

• Owning month-end financial reporting and close activities.
• Preparing and reviewing P&L and Balance Sheet reconciliations.
• Supporting statutory audits, financial statements and working closely with external auditors.
• Providing technical accounting advice and support.
• Analysis of financial data and commentary.
• Identifying and implementing process improvements and efficiencies.
• Supporting international finance projects and ad hoc analysis.

What You Bring
You're an accountant who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems and making things better.
You'll ideally have:

• Strong financial accounting (IFRS) and month-end experience.
• Experience with statutory reporting and audits.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive, hands-on approach and the confidence to challenge the status quo.
