RRG Capital Management is a specialist investment manager focused on creating long-term value for investors and partners through the sustainable management of real assets across agriculture, food production, water management, habitat conservation, and renewable energy. Through its Australian operations, RRG Australia manages a diverse portfolio of farms and agricultural assets, delivering strong commercial outcomes while generating meaningful environmental and social impact.

An opportunity now exists for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join the team permanently on either a full time or part time basis.

The Role

You’ll work closely with the Financial Controller on existing entities, and with the CEO on new investments and acquisitions. Duties will include:

• Preparing monthly management accounts, reconciliations and investor reporting packs
• Delivering accurate and timely financial reporting to support business performance
• Co-leading annual budgeting and rolling forecasting processes across a diverse agricultural portfolio
• Analysing financial results, identify key variances and provide actionable commercial insights
• Building and maintaining three-way financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making
• Conducting investment analysis, portfolio valuations and scenario modelling to assess opportunities and risk
• Supporting acquisitions, due diligence activities and the evaluation of new investments
• Providing commercial analysis across farming operations, including crop performance, input costs and profitability
• Developing business cases and financial assessments for operational improvement and capital investment projects
• Monitoring cash flow, treasury activities and working capital to support business performance
• Assisting with tax, statutory compliance, insurance management and corporate governance requirements
• Partnering closely with farm managers and leadership, providing clear financial insights that drive informed decisions

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or commerce + CA, CPA or CIMA completed (or near completion)
• A minimum of 3 -5 years’ experience in a business finance role covering both accounting & analysis
• Budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and tax experience
• Previous experience with financial modelling, including three-way models, valuation and scenario analysis
• Accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to hold both up under deadline pressure
• The temperament for a small, close-kit team, where getting on with people matters as much as technical skill
• Intermediate Excel and experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Workday Adaptive Planning or other financial systems and reporting tools will be highly regarded
• Agribusiness, farming or experience working in an asset heavy industry (e.g. funds management) will be highly regarded
