The Role
We are currently seeking Paint and Blasters to join our team to assist and undertake planned shutdown, maintenance and project works.  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Perform abrasive blasting (sandblasting, grit blasting, etc.) to clean and prepare surfaces
  • Remove rust, scale, old coatings, and contaminants to meet coating specification
  • Apply protective coatings (primers, sealers, topcoats) using spray, brush, or roller
  • Ensure correct mixing ratios and application techniques per product specs
  • Conduct touch-ups and recoating as required
  • Operate blasting pots, compressors, spray guns, and associated tools safely
  • Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs on equipment
  • Monitor equipment performance and report faults
  • Inspect surfaces before and after blasting/painting
  • Measure coating thickness (DFT) and ensure compliance with specifications

About You 

  • Full Australian Working Rights 
  • Construction White Card
  • Relevant Australian recognised trade qualification
  • Working at Heights Certificate
  • Enter and Work in Confined Space CertificateHigh Risk Work Licence (HRWL) is advantageous
  • Willingness to learn new techniques, tools, and methods to expand your skillset
  • Positive attitude and a commitment to excellence
