The Road Construction team carries out a broad range of civil construction activities with projects such as road construction, bridge construction, intersection upgrades, installation of culverts, footpaths, kerb, and channel.

About the role

As a Labourer, you’ll play a hands‑on role in delivering the civil works that keep our region moving. You will be part of a skilled team working across road construction, drainage, earthworks, and general maintenance.

About the team

The Construction & Maintenance Central (CMC) Team delivers capital and operational works that maintain and improve safety, serviceability and efficiency of the region’s road network and integrated transport system.

  • Salary is $33.17 per hour, with a base gross of $2,520.64 per fortnight.

What you'll bring

  • Current 'C' Class Driver’s Licence and the
  • Readiness to obtain your WHS General Construction Induction (White Card) prior to commencement, if you don’t already hold it.
  • Year 10 education or equivalent capability, whether that’s formal qualifications, hands‑on experience, or proven competence that shows you can perform all duties of the role. If you’re motivated, reliable and ready to learn, we encourage you to apply.
