Accounts Receivable Officer | Full-Time | Kilsyth
A leading logistics and distribution business based in Kilsyth is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Accounts Receivable Officer to join their finance team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Working within a fast-paced environment, you will play a key role in maintaining cash flow, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end accounts receivable processing
- Managing debtor collections and aged debt follow-up
- Processing customer payments and allocating receipts
- Raising invoices, credit notes and account adjustments
- Reconciling customer accounts and ledgers
- Investigating and resolving payment discrepancies
- Preparing debtor reports and assisting with month-end processes
- Building positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
About You
- Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable or Accounts Officer position
- Strong collection and customer service skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with ERP systems is highly regarded
- Exposure to logistics, transport, warehousing or distribution industries will be advantageous
