An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Graphic Designer to join a high-performing communications and engagement team supporting large-scale infrastructure and community projects across Brisbane.Working within a collaborative stakeholder engagement environment, you'll be responsible for creating high-quality visual communications that help keep communities informed and engaged. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on meaningful projects that have a visible impact across the city.

Your new role
As the Graphic Designer, you will partner closely with project teams, communications specialists and creative stakeholders to develop engaging and informative visual collateral, including:

  • Project newsletters and publications
  • Infrastructure and wayfinding signage
  • Community education materials
  • Project plans, maps and technical graphics
  • Detour maps and construction communications
  • Large-format banners and promotional materials

You'll play a key role in ensuring all designs align with established brand guidelines while delivering creative solutions that effectively communicate project outcomes.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Proven graphic design experience across print and digital channels
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Experience producing signage, publications, maps and large-format artwork
  • Strong understanding of brand governance and corporate style guides
  • The ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills

Experience working within infrastructure, construction, transport, community engagement or government environments will be highly regarded.
