Landscaper Labourer - Turf layer

AWX Brisbane is currently seeking reliable and hardworking Landscape Labourer - Turf Layer to join our team for ongoing work across Brisbane and surrounding areas.

If you're experienced in landscaping/turfing, enjoy hands-on work and are ready to get stuck in, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities
• Turf preparation, installation and maintenance
• Preparing soil and surfaces for turf installation
• Laying, cutting and joining turf to achieve a quality finish
• Soil preparation, levelling and grading
• General landscape labouring
• Assisting with loading and unloading the turf off the trucks
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised worksite
• Working effectively as part of a team while maintaining high WHS standards
• Travelling across job sites in the Brisbane and surrounding areas

Requirements
• Previous landscaping experience, with hands-on turfing experience highly desirable
• Construction Induction White Card
• Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
• Full PPE - steel cap boots, hi-vis shirt, hard hat, gloves and safety glasses
• Reliable, punctual and committed to ongoing work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to travel between job sites across Brisbane and surrounding areas
