About the role:

• Take ownership of and expand the Liquor Licensing practice.
• Provide strategic legal advice to clients on liquor licensing, compliance, and regulatory matters.
• Handle complex liquor licensing applications, disputes, and audits.
• Advise clients on risk management and regulatory frameworks.
• Lead negotiations and represent clients in licensing hearings and hearings before regulatory authorities.
• Mentor and develop junior team members within the practice.
• Work closely with senior leadership to shape the practice's growth strategy.

The ideal candidate:

• 10+ years’ experience in liquor licensing, regulatory law, or related areas.
• Proven client-facing skills with a track record in business development.
• Strong leadership ability, capable of mentoring a small team.
• A strategic, commercial thinker with a collaborative approach.
• Eager to contribute to the growth of a boutique practice.
