About the Role
As Financial Controller, you will report directly to the CFO for Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) and play a key role in supporting the financial performance and integrity of CTM’s ANZ business. You will lead the ANZ Corporate Finance team, overseeing financial reporting, month-end and year-end processes, variance analysis, management reporting, statutory disclosures, external audits, cash flow forecasting, tax and treasury requirements.

A key focus of the role will be ensuring the integrity of the P&L and Balance Sheet, maintaining alignment with International Accounting Standards and delivering accurate month-end reporting within four business days.

You will partner closely with Finance leadership, the broader business and onshore and offshore support teams to strengthen financial processes, improve efficiency and leverage technology to deliver better outcomes. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact across both financial governance and continuous improvement.

About You
We’re looking for an experienced finance leader who combines strong technical accounting expertise with a collaborative, people-focused approach. You’ll bring:

  • CA/CPA qualification with 10+ years’ relevant experience within a large accounting firm, publicly listed company or large corporate environment.
  • Strong accounting and tax technical knowledge, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills, including the ability to lead teams and navigate change positively.
  • Excellent organisational, time management, prioritisation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills, with the confidence to build effective relationships across the business and with external stakeholders.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach and a strong work ethic, with a focus on achieving team and business outcomes.
  • A collaborative mindset and positive attitude, with the ability to lead by example.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with SAP Business One or similar accounting, ledger management and consolidation systems.
