About the role

As a Senior BIM Technician, you will play a key role in the delivery and coordination of Building Services designs across a variety of sectors. You will be responsible for developing high-quality BIM models, coordinating multidisciplinary design teams, and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, coordination and management of BIM models throughout project lifecycles.
  • Produce high-quality Revit models and design documentation in accordance with project requirements and WSP standards.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary models and resolve clashes using industry-standard BIM tools.
  • Support project teams in the planning and delivery of BIM requirements and digital engineering strategies.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, designers and external stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Assist in the preparation and implementation of BIM Execution Plans and project-specific BIM deliverables.
  • Identify and proactively manage project coordination risks and constructability issues.
  • Mentor junior BIM technicians and promote best-practice BIM workflows.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of BIM standards, content libraries and digital engineering processes.
  • Manage project deliverables to agreed quality standards, budgets and deadlines.
  • Support innovation and the adoption of emerging digital technologies across the business.

What You'll Bring

  • 8-10 years of experience in BIM modelling and documentation within Building Services.
  • Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
  • Strong experience in one or more Building Services disciplines including Mechanical, Electrical, Fire, Hydraulic, Security or ICT.
  • Proven experience coordinating multidisciplinary BIM models.
  • Sound understanding of BIM collaboration platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / BIM 360.
  • Knowledge of clash detection, model federation and coordination workflows.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple project teams and locations.
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality, innovation and continuous improvement.
